At Köpings IP, Forsby FF faced P18 IK in an exciting match in Division 1 Södra Svealand for women. In front of an audience of 45, the match kicked off on a Saturday afternoon with Antony Mc Iver as the referee and assistants Neftaly Lopez and Amelin Begovic.
Just 25 minutes in, P18 IK took the lead through Ellen Olofsson, and only two minutes later, Shannen Wacker extended the lead to 2-0 for the away team. However, Forsby FF did not give up and reduced the score through Linn Eriksson, bringing it to 1-2 at halftime.
At the start of the second half, Alice Salomonsson received a yellow card for P18 IK, but the team continued to press and increased their lead to 4-1 through goals from Shannen Wacker and Elfrida Svedjer. Forsby FF, however, persisted, and Maja Nordmark was able to reduce the score to 2-4.
But P18 IK demonstrated their quality as Julia Wilson increased the score to 5-2 before an unfortunate own goal from Forsby FF led to the final score of 6-2 for the away team. It was a tough match where P18 IK proved to be the stronger team, taking three points home. After the match, Forsby FF remains at the bottom of the table while P18 IK climbs a few places up.
