It was an exciting match between IFK Lidingö FK and P18 IK at Lidingövallen 1 on Saturday afternoon. With 55 people in the stands, there was a high pulse on the field, and the match was predominantly dominated by P18 IK, who are higher up in the standings.
Already in the 13th minute, P18 IK scored a beautiful header goal by Camilla Ronström. However, IFK Lidingö FK did not let themselves be discouraged and fought on, and it didn't take long before they earned a penalty which Ebba Lilliehöök skillfully converted. The score was now 1-1, and the match was on.
IFK Lidingö FK's coach was jumping nervously on the sidelines and did everything to encourage his players. With only a few minutes left in the first half, Noelle Larsson scored a goal for the home team. After that, it was tense, but neither team managed to score again despite several dangerous sequences.
In the second half, Natalia Julia Maciaszczyk received a warning for IFK Lidingö FK, and P18 IK made a double substitution where Clara Jonsson and Lina Applegren replaced Minna Lindgren and Tëa Gråberg. Shortly after the substitution, Tove Lundborg came on for IFK Lidingö FK, making it the third substitution of the match, replacing Michaela Ainerud. Amaya Lindstrand Escobar was the last to come on when she replaced Liv Gantelius for IFK Lidingö FK.
It was a nervous match and it resulted in a number of cards; Blanca Hallerby Calding was cautioned for the home team and Maria Sanchez Hali was cautioned for the away team towards the end of the match, but neither team managed to score again. IFK Lidingö FK managed to maintain their narrow 2-1 lead and secured their first victory in several matches. P18 IK had much to think about after the match and will train harder to climb the standings.
