It was a sunny Saturday afternoon, and the match between FC Hessleholm and Stattena IF kicked off at Österås IP A-plan in front of an audience of zero. Referee Ulrica Löv and assistant referees Daniel Källström and Tony Hellborg had their hands full keeping track of the players as the match began.
Already after eleven minutes, the away team Stattena IF took the lead through Emma Renken. FC Hessleholm tried to get back into the game, but Stattena IF's Lina Persson increased the lead to 0-2 in the 26th minute.

FC Hessleholm made two substitutions in the 71st and 82nd minutes, but it was in vain as Lina Persson scored her third goal of the match, securing a hat trick for Stattena IF in the 85th minute.
Stattena IF brought in Clara Bredhe in the 87th minute, and the match ended 1-4 in favor of the away team. It was a significant victory for Stattena IF and three much-needed points in Division 1 Västra Götaland for the team.
