It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Hammarvallen 11 in Loftahammar when Tjust IF FF faced off against Ulricehamns IFK in a Division 2 North-East Götaland match for women. With only 50 people present, the atmosphere at the arena was calm when referee Vagif Rustamov blew the whistle to start the match.
It didn't take long before Ulricehamns IFK took the lead. After 15 minutes of the match, Ebba Fritzson struck and found the net. Tjust tried to bounce back, but it was Ulricehamns that continued to dominate. In the 29th minute, Tilda Isaksson scored another goal, making it 0-2, which stood until halftime.
Tjust IF FF started the second half strongly and reduced the score to 1-2 through Filippa Karlberg in the 51st minute. However, the joy was short-lived for Tjust as Tove Carlberg received a yellow card just three minutes later. Ulricehamns then converted a penalty in the 55th minute to extend their lead to 1-3 through Clara Udd. Just two minutes later, Donika Shala added another goal for Ulricehamns, making the score 1-4.
Tjust IF FF tried to rally, but Ulricehamns IFK continued to dominate. With three goals in the span of 20 minutes, Liv Andersson and the double scorer Ebba Fritzson found the net again, setting the final score at 1-6 in favor of Ulricehamns.
After a convincing victory, Ulricehamns IFK heads home with all three points, while Tjust IF FF will look to regroup for their next match.
