On Monday evening, FC Trollhättan faced Falköpings KIK at Edsborgs IP A-plan in an exciting women’s match in Division 2 North-West Gothland, in front of an audience of 70 people.
The match started evenly, and both teams had their chances during the first half, but neither was able to put the ball in the net. Referee Armend Nimanaj kept full control of the game, assisted by Egzonit Abazi and Amir Ajrizaj.
The second half began as evenly as the first, but as time went on, it was FC Trollhättan who took more and more control of the game. In the 77th minute, the home team finally got their reward when Stella Hagstedt scored to make it 1-0 following a nice pass from her teammate.
Falköpings KIK desperately tried to get back into the match, but FC Trollhättan held their ground and defended their lead. In the 89th minute, Stella Hagstedt struck again, scoring her second goal of the evening, which also turned out to be the last goal of the match. The final score was 2-0 to FC Trollhättan.
It was a well-played match by both teams, with FC Trollhättan showing a bit more patience and determination in front of goal, which earned them a well-deserved victory. The next match for both teams will be in two weeks, when FC Trollhättan will face Borås AIK and Falköpings KIK will take on Jitex Mölndal BK at home.
