It was an exciting match at Lunnevi IP A-plan when IK Gauthiod hosted Orust FC in Division 2 Norra Götaland for women. The match started well for the home team when Ida Rohlén scored to make it 1-0 in the seventh minute. However, Orust FC quickly responded when Emma Holmberg equalized to 1-1 in the 40th minute.
In the second half, Orust FC took the lead with a score of 2-1 thanks to another goal by Emma Holmberg in the 66th minute. But IK Gauthiod did not give up and fought their way back into the match. In the 80th minute, Stina Högemark equalized for the home team.
The match then took a dramatic turn when Emelie Kinle from Orust FC received a yellow card in the 80th minute and was subsequently sent off after receiving a second yellow card in the same minute. With one player more on the field, IK Gauthiod took advantage of the situation, and in the 86th minute, Stina Österberg scored the decisive goal, making it 3-2 for the home team.
Despite several yellow cards for both sides and a dramatic ending, IK Gauthiod managed to hold on and secure an important victory in front of their 66 home fans. Orust FC left with a bitter aftertaste after having lost their lead and having played much of the match with one player less on the field.
