Gunnilse IS started the match strongly and took the lead after just 14 minutes with a penalty goal from Moses Ssewankambo. The team continued to press Ytterby IS and extended their lead to 2-0 with another goal from Ssewankambo in the 29th minute.
However, in the 39th minute, Gunnilse suffered a heavy blow when Korab Bakraqi was sent off, forcing the team to play the rest of the match with one man down. Ytterby IS attempted to exploit their numerical advantage and began to gain momentum.
In the second half, Ytterby made a substitution, bringing in Nicklas Andersson, who managed to reduce the score to 2-1 with a penalty in the 76th minute. The team continued to press and ultimately equalized through Tobias Sundström in the 89th minute.
The match ended 2-2, and Gunnilse IS delivered a strong effort despite playing significant portions of the match with one fewer player. However, Ytterby IS successfully came back from a two-goal deficit to take a point home. It was an exciting match that provided both drama and entertainment for the 143 spectators at Hjällbovallen.
