The early Saturday afternoon featured an exciting match between IK Gauthiod and Lerums IS at Lunnevi IP A-plan. Both teams were eager for revenge after their last match and wanted to secure three points.

The match started at a high tempo, and it didn't take many minutes before the home team, IK Gauthiod, took the lead with a beautiful goal from Valon Gashi in the third minute. Lerums IS struggled to respond to the home team’s attacks, and it wasn't long before Emil Svensson doubled the lead to 2-0 in the ninth minute.

Lerums IS then fought back into the match and reduced the deficit after 37 minutes with a fine goal from Richard Björnander, which gave them a boost of confidence.

At halftime, Lerums IS showed that they really wanted to win the match and substituted in Micael Jakobsson, who quickly made an impact on the field. Lerums IS equalized to 2-2 with a nice goal from Henrik Forsberg in the 47th minute.

However, IK Gauthiod continued to apply pressure, and Valon Gashi scored his second goal of the day in the 58th minute to take the lead once again. Gashi then proved he was a key player by scoring his third goal of the day, completing his hat trick in the 80th minute, effectively sealing the match.

Lerums IS then had a player sent off after a hard tackle, and IK Gauthiod maintained full control until the final whistle, ending the match at 4-2.

It was an entertaining match with high intensity and solid defense. With this victory, IK Gauthiod secures three important points and continues to fight for a better position in the table. Lerums IS, on the other hand, is now facing two consecutive losses and must find a way to turn the trend around.
