On a cold Monday evening, more than a thousand football enthusiasts gathered at Edsborg's IP A field to watch the meeting between FC Trollhättan and Vänersborgs FK with anticipation. Both teams had a strong interest in winning, but FC Trollhättan had a superior position as league leader in Division 2 Norra Götaland.
The match started with a high intensity from both teams, but it was FC Trollhättan who dominated the game. Vänersborgs FK fought and defended well, but in the 43rd minute Lovre Spadina was booked for a hard foul.

Vänersborgs FK continued to fight but failed to create any real dangerous scoring chances. Instead, it was FC Trollhättan who held the baton and in the 85th minute Gabriel Bilan scored the third and final goal for FC Trollhättan.
The match ended with a victory for FC Trollhättan, who now strengthened their lead in the table. Vänersborgs FK fought hard, but it was clear that they need to improve their attacking game if they want to keep their place in Division 2 Norra Götaland.
