On a sunny Saturday afternoon, Karlstad BK and Vänersborgs IF met at Våxnäs IP in front of an empty stands. Referee Henrik Matsson and his assistants Peter Haglund and Lovisa Johansson were busy on the field as both teams fought to secure victory in Division 2 Norra Götaland.

It was Karlstad BK who took the lead in the 22nd minute when Sherwan Baderkhan found the net. After that, two quick goals followed from Daniel Carr and Agon Beqiri, putting the home team firmly in control of the match.

However, Vänersborgs IF tried to fight back and got a chance when Moussa Taher scored in the 31st minute. Karlstad BK quickly responded with their third goal, also from Agon Beqiri. Just before halftime, Taher scored his second goal, reducing the deficit for the visitors.

In the second half, Karlstad took control again, and Sherwan Baderkhan scored his second goal in the 59th minute. Vänersborg attempted to keep up but instead saw Carlos Patino receive a yellow card, and the team made several substitutions in hopes of bringing in fresh players who could make a difference.

Karlstad, however, held on and won the match 4-2. In the 65th minute, the home team substituted Haytham Chebil in for Oskar Jansson, and in the 68th minute, Joel Gustavsson was brought in for Daniel Carr. In the 75th minute, Karlstad substituted Erik Nilsson in for Ako Ahmadi, while Vänersborgs IF made a substitution, bringing in Christian Sundén Niemi for Moussa Taher.

In the 77th minute, Vänersborgs IF substituted Jonas Alfredsson in for Alexander Adolfsson, and in the 79th minute, Filip Kalmertun was replaced by Niklas Andersson. Karlstad BK's Stefan Zarkovic received a yellow card in the 60th minute, and Agon Beqiri was cautioned in the 44th minute, while Carlos Patino of Vänersborgs IF received a yellow card in the 76th minute.
