FC Trollhättan secured a convincing victory at home on Edsborgs IP A-plan against Lerums IS when the teams faced off in Division 2 Norra Götaland. The home team started the match strong, and it didn’t take long before Josef Daoud headed in the first goal in the 33rd minute. Ten minutes later, Fredrik Söderqvist doubled the lead to 2-0 with a well-placed shot.

In the second half, FC Trollhättan continued to dominate, and Söderqvist scored his second goal of the match in the 50th minute. Just three minutes later, Charles Ikenna Kean extended the lead to 4-0. Lerums IS tried to turn the tide by making a substitution, but it was only another nine minutes before Daoud scored his second goal of the evening, increasing the lead to 5-0.

Andreas Schmidt then scored from a free kick in the 61st minute, and it seemed like Lerums IS no longer had a chance to catch up. FC Trollhättan then substituted in players to showcase the entire squad, and Arlind Beqiri came on in the 70th minute. It didn’t take long before he contributed to another goal when Fredrik Sundström increased the lead to 7-0 in the 75th minute.

FC Trollhättan continued to control the match, demonstrating which team was the best on the field and securing a deserved victory. The home supporters at Edsborgs IP A-plan could go home happy after a very entertaining soccer match, which, despite being a one-sided affair, seemed to enjoy themselves on the pitch.
