IFK Uddevalla put on an impressive performance when they hosted league leaders IK Gauthiod at home on Fridhemsvallen. The match started evenly with both teams having scoring chances, but it was the home side that first found the back of the net. After 25 minutes, Joakim Berggren struck and gave IFK the lead with a score of 1-0.

Despite more chances for both teams, it wasn't until the referee awarded a free kick to IK Gauthiod just outside the penalty area that the visitors were able to equalize. Josef Daoud delivered a magnificent shot, placing the ball in the net behind IFK's goalkeeper.

IK Gauthiod continued to press, and just before halftime, Valon Gashi made it 2-1 for the visitors, putting even more pressure on the home side. However, the coach made two substitutions at halftime that renewed IFK's energy. Just 57 minutes in, Sebastian Jaconelli equalized to 2-2 from the penalty spot, and the intensity on the field increased significantly.

IFK took control of the match, and after 61 minutes, Joakim Berggren scored his second goal, putting his team ahead 3-2. The visitors from IK Gauthiod pressed for an equalizer but were unable to get the ball past IFK's skilled goalkeeper.

There were a few more substitutions from both sides towards the end, but neither team managed to change the scoreline. Three points go to IFK Uddevalla, who climbed to fourth place in the standings, while IK Gauthiod saw their lead at the top of the table narrow slightly. It was a dramatic and exciting match that showcased excellent football from both teams.
