The match between Torslanda IK and IK Gauthiod turned out to be a real thriller at Torslandavallen this Saturday afternoon. Despite there being no spectators on site to witness the match, the teams delivered an entertaining and exciting game of football.

It was Torslanda IK who took the lead early in the match through Haris Avdiu, who scored 1-0 after just 15 minutes. However, IK Gauthiod quickly responded with Valon Gashi, who equalized to 1-1 just eight minutes later. Torslanda IK managed to regain the lead when Anton Salihu scored 2-1 in the 24th minute. But once again, IK Gauthiod responded, this time through Jacob Berg, who equalized to 2-2 just four minutes later.

In the second half, Torslanda IK took the lead again with a goal from Hampus Furuholm Lemborn, but it would be a tough second half for the team. Noel Zandén was sent off, and team captain Pontus Johansson was also sent off after receiving two yellow cards. IK Gauthiod took advantage of Torslanda’s send-offs and managed to equalize to 3-3 through Jacob Berg and then secured the win with Jonas Aronsson, who scored 4-3 from a penalty in the 89th minute.

Referee Danial Ahmadi blew the final whistle, and IK Gauthiod could celebrate a hard-fought victory against Torslanda IK. Meanwhile, Torslanda IK will head home to reflect on how they can improve their game in preparation for upcoming matches in Division 2 Norra Götaland.
