Nordvärmland FF impressed on Saturday afternoon when they faced IFK Åmål at Björnevi Artificial Grass. The home team took an early lead in the 26th minute when Niklas Bengtsson scored a beautiful goal behind the IFK Åmål goalkeeper. Just before halftime, Szymon Wiejak extended the lead with a stunning shot that left the goalkeeper with no chance.
Early in the second half, Wiejak received a yellow card, but that did not stop him from continuing to put pressure on the IFK Åmål defense. After 62 minutes, Niklas Bengtsson scored his second goal, and Nordvärmland FF now led 3-0.
However, IFK Åmål was not completely out of it, and Cam Michael Powell managed to reduce the deficit to 3-1 in the 70th minute. But Nordvärmland FF were not satisfied and seven minutes later, Wiejak unleashed another beautiful shot, scoring his second goal of the day.
IFK Åmål tried to keep fighting and made several substitutions, but Nordvärmland FF held strong and won the match 4-1. After the match, Nordvärmland FF sits in a strong second place in the league table, while IFK Åmål remains in the lower half.
