Stenungsunds IF claimed a victory against IFK Åmål after scoring four goals to Åmål's two. The match, played at Örnäsvallens IP in front of an audience of zero, started strong for Stenungsund's Jesper Widenbäck, who scored the first goal just ten minutes into the game. However, Åmål did not give up and managed to equalize just three minutes later through Benjamin Muminovic.

IFK Åmål then received their own warning when Oscar Kihlgren received a yellow card after 69 minutes. Åmål's hopes were dashed when Stenungsund's Florian Brahimi scored two goals late in the second half, leading to a 5-2 victory for Stenungsund. Åmål's Varatanović Alaedin also received two yellow cards, resulting in a red card after 70 minutes. Stenungsund's Philip Hofvenström then replaced Axel Aronsson after 70 minutes. Stenungsund's Villiam Bobek replaced Jesper Widenbäck in the 87th minute, and Filip Hansen replaced Lord Ofosuhene at the end of the match.

With this victory, Stenungsunds IF strengthens its position as leaders in the Division 2 Norra Götaland league, while IFK Åmål remains in 11th place. The match was refereed by Honraw Ghassali, with assistants Pontus Persson and Selma Griberg.
