IFK Uddevalla showcased their goal-scoring ability when they defeated Vänersborgs FK 5-2 at Fridhemsvallen on Sunday afternoon. The match was the last of the year for both teams, and the result meant that IFK Uddevalla finished in a relegation spot while Vänersborgs FK had to settle for 6th place in Division 2 Norra Götaland.

From the start, IFK Uddevalla played a controlled game that quickly gave them the lead thanks to a fine goal by Adeek Galleyr in the 36th minute. Just a few minutes later, Dion Eriksson doubled the lead to 2-0, which caused some concern in the Vänersborgs FK camp. But it would get even worse as Fredrik Brändén scored to make it 3-0 just a few minutes before halftime.

In the second half, Vänersborgs FK increased the tempo and tried to put pressure on IFK Uddevalla. However, a charitable home defense made it easier for the away team, and Dion Eriksson was able to net his second goal of the day, increasing the lead to 4-0 in the 54th minute. Just two minutes later, Adeek Galleyr dashed Vänersborgs FK's hopes further by scoring his second goal of the day.

Vänersborgs FK fought hard to at least reduce the deficit and replaced the trio of Abdikarim Dahir Mohamed, Lacaso Hussein, and Sevdan Alija. Their efforts paid off in the 60th minute when Arlind Beqiri was able to connect with a nicely curled ball to make it 5-1.

IFK Uddevalla's Adeek Galleyr was back in the spotlight when he received a yellow card in the 65th minute, followed by Erik Ahl and Granit Berisha, who were also cautioned for inappropriate behavior.

Valon Gashi managed to score Vänersborgs FK's second goal in the 75th minute, but it was too late to make a difference. IFK Uddevalla had already secured the victory and went on to substitute Bilal Moussa and Ilir Fazlija while Pajtim Beka and Mohamed Abdu were brought in for Vänersborgs FK.

The match ended 5-2 in favor of IFK Uddevalla, who will surely be pleased to end the season with a win. Vänersborgs FK, on the other hand, will look ahead to next season to find a better level of performance.
