Sävedalens IF played at home against Vänersborgs FK in Division 2 Norra Götaland on Saturday afternoon in front of an empty arena at Vallhamra 1 Grass. Referee Gheorghe Piscoran, assisted by Anders Kinell and David Kåtorp, officiated the match, and the home team quickly sprang out of the starting blocks.

Vänersborg did not give up, and Ismael Fonjah scored a consolation goal in the 70th minute to reduce the score to 4-2. Sävedalen then made several substitutions in the 74th minute, with Anton Nilsson and Fredrik Alnäs coming on for Rasmus Tengfjord and Simon Guli. Martin Srpcanski replaced Peter Bangur, while Vänersborg made two substitutions, with Abdikarim Dahir Mohamed and Pajtim Beka coming on for Mohamed Abdu and Albin Broberg.
Vänersborg's Ali Al-Habobi received a warning in the 86th minute, and just a few minutes later, Anton Nilsson scored his first goal of the match, making it 5-2 for Sävedalen IF. Emil Ursholm came on for Alexander Wiksten in the 87th minute.
The match ended 5-2 in favor of Sävedalen IF, who had full control of the game and secured a well-deserved victory.
