It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Lillängen when Nordvärmland FF hosted IFK Tidaholm in Division 2 Norra Götaland. The audience, numbering 115, gathered to watch the match, officiated by referee Stefan Fredriksson and his assistants Lars Larsson and Olle Rattfeldt.

In the fifth minute, Nordvärmland took the lead through an own goal by IFK Tidaholm. Emil Portén then extended the lead to 2-0 in the 36th minute, followed by Dawood Bethio Yakos' goal just two minutes later. Before halftime, Emil Portén also converted a penalty, bringing the score to 4-0 for Nordvärmland.
