It was a hot Saturday afternoon at Trängen IP A when BK Forward faced IK Zenith in Division 2 Norra Götaland for men. In front of an audience of 200 people and under the leadership of referee Henric Karlsson along with assistant referees Hannes Jansson and Tomislav Cosic, it was BK Forward who would take the lead in the match. After only two minutes on the clock, Emil Rolland struck and put the home team ahead 1-0. However, the visiting IK Zenith would quickly respond, and after 23 minutes, Gustav Norin netted a header to equalize at 1-1.

BK Forward would prove to be too strong for IK Zenith during the first half. After 27 minutes, Linus Jansson scored to make it 2-1 for the home team, and at the 30-minute mark, Svante Svedin added another goal, increasing the lead to 3-1. The guests tried to stay in the game and substituted Marcus Larsson for Jonathan Nyström. This change would prove successful as IK Zenith scored a goal, a header from Isaac Jonsson at the 35-minute mark. However, it wouldn’t last long, as just eight minutes later, Svante Svedin scored his second goal of the day, bringing BK Forward’s lead to 4-2.

The second half began with several substitutions from both teams. BK Forward replaced Svante Svedin, while IK Zenith brought in Karl Aronsson and Emre Balci. Balci would prove to be a good reinforcement for the visitors as he scored their third goal at the 82-minute mark, cutting the deficit to just one goal, 4-3. However, it wouldn’t be enough for IK Zenith, as Eliyo Türkan scored for the home team at the 85-minute mark, making it 5-3 for BK Forward.

The match concluded with several substitutions for the home team, where Christopher Alp and Johan Chamoun were replaced by Jesper Nilsson and Elton Vallberg. But it was Bilal Fousseni who scored the final goal of the match in the dying minutes, extending the lead to 6-3 for BK Forward.

It was a well-played match with both teams trying their best, but it was clear that BK Forward was the stronger team on this day. With a high turnout, there was a lovely atmosphere at Trängen IP A, and we look forward to more exciting matches in Division 2 Norra Götaland.
