It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Värmdövallen when Värmdö IF faced the league leaders Akropolis IF in Division 2 Norra Svealand. Despite the attendance being zero, it was an intense match where both teams gave their all on the field.
Already in the 18th minute, Akropolis IF's Oskar Cederling received a warning, but that did not stop the team from taking the lead. Adrian Nygren Pettersson scored the first goal in the 19th minute, and Victor Söderström doubled the lead to 0-2 just two minutes later.
At halftime, Värmdö IF made a substitution, bringing Pashang Abdulla on for Lamin Allen. Nevertheless, Värmdö IF could not get any closer to a goal, and instead, Akropolis IF scored three more goals in the second half. Adhavan Rajamohan netted two of the goals, while Heradi Rashidi and Adrian Nygren Pettersson also contributed to the scoring.
When referee Jonas Bäcklund blew the final whistle, it was clear that Akropolis IF had won 0-5, further solidifying their position at the top of the table. For Värmdö IF, it remains to lick their wounds and try to get back on the winning track.
