Sundbybergs IK and Gamla Upsala SK faced each other at Sundbybergs IP 1 in front of an audience of 154 on the afternoon of May 20. Alexander Milovanovic was the main referee, assisted on the sidelines by Gojko Jajic and Peter Fridén.
The match started evenly, with both teams creating chances. In the 27th minute, Sundbybergs IK's Ricardo Persson Gray scored a beautiful goal, giving his team a 1-0 lead. However, Gamla Upsala SK responded quickly, and in the 37th minute, Patrik Källsten equalized with a penalty, making the score 1-1.
During the second half, Gamla Upsala SK took control, and in the 53rd minute, Henrik Englund scored with a well-placed shot, putting them ahead 1-2. Sundbyberg tried to find their way back into the match and made two substitutions in quick succession, but it didn’t work out.
In the 90th minute, however, Sundbybergs IK managed to pressure for an equalizer. Besto Azu beautifully headed the ball past the goalkeeper, sending the home crowd into jubilation. The match ended 2-2.
There were several bookings during the match, with referee Milovanovic issuing yellow cards to Riccardo Persson Gray from Sundbyberg, as well as Camron Nguesseu, Jonathan Gillberg, and Tobias Waldenström Soldati. Haris Bajramovic and Daniel Afewerki from Gamla Upsala SK also received yellow cards.
The match provided plenty of excitement and many great goal-scoring opportunities, ultimately ending with a point for both teams in Division 2 Norra Svealand.
