It was sunny and there was a good turnout at Gutavallen when FC Gute hosted Strömsbergs IF in Division 2 Norra Svealand.
It didn’t take long for the home team FC Gute to take the lead after a nice attack that was finished off by Marcus Nobell in the fourteenth minute. Strömsberg struggled to get into the match and tried to find gaps in FC Gute’s defense without success. Instead, the home team extended their lead in the 26th minute through Marcus Kettler.
Strömsberg persevered, but the home team looked both faster and stronger on the pitch. In the 38th minute, Marcus Burman scored 3-0 from a free kick, and shortly thereafter, Villiam Dahlström received the ball on the right flank and placed it in for 4-0 for FC Gute.
The second half was not a pleasant experience for the away team as FC Gute continued to dominate the game. In the 54th minute, Villiam Dahlström scored his second goal of the match, extending the lead to 5-0. Strömsberg kept fighting, but they couldn’t quite challenge a well-organized FC Gute team.
The home fans' joy was evident in the cheers at their final goal, which came in the ninth minute of injury time. Jonathan Westergren had the opportunity to seal the final score at 6-0 and did so without any problems.
The match thus ended with a very convincing victory for FC Gute, who impressed the home crowd with their fine football. Strömsberg left the pitch with a heavy defeat and a lot to ponder.
