Bollnäs GIF FF and Strömsbergs IF faced off at Solrosens IP on Saturday afternoon. A few minutes into the match, the guests managed to take the lead through Filip Norell and then extended their lead with another goal by Alexander Råstock just before the halftime break.
Bollnäs tried to fight their way back into the match but suffered a setback when Hady Saleh Karim received a yellow card in the 43rd minute. Just after halftime, Karim was substituted for Christian Brolin, which would prove to be a decisive move by the coach.
Strömsbergs IF also opted to make changes to their lineup, bringing in Nicholas Björklund for Joel Pettersson in the 70th minute. Two minutes later, Brolin managed to reduce the deficit for Bollnäs, making it 1-2.
Sherif Mahamud Abdi came on for Lawen Hamad in Strömsberg in the 75th minute, but a yellow card for Abdi in the 80th minute would turn out to be a costly mistake. Just three minutes later, Björklund received his second yellow card and was sent off.
With one more player on the field, Bollnäs increased the pressure on Strömsberg. After four minutes of added time, Jens Olsson managed to score the equalizer, and the match ended 2-2.
The crowd at Solrosens IP was treated to an eventful match with a dramatic second half, and both teams can leave with a point from the game. In the end, it was Bollnäs GIF FF that was closest to a victory, but given the circumstances, they must settle for a point.
