The summer sun shone over Hedens IP 1 as Strömsbergs IF hosted Vasalunds IF in Division 2 Norra Svealand, men's, on Saturday afternoon in front of a crowd of 33 spectators. Ahead of the match, the home team Strömsbergs IF had a tough season behind them, placing last in the table, while the visiting team Vasalunds IF was undefeated and leading the table.
The match kicked off strongly for Vasalunds IF when Mai Traore scored just three minutes in, giving the red and blue team the lead. Vasalunds IF continued to dominate the game, and their lead increased when Ovella Ochieng scored from a free kick in the 84th minute. Vasalunds IF made two further substitutions at the end of the match when Krsto Beko and Hamza Kamara replaced Bilal Hussein and Cedrik Freado Danha in the 90th minute.
The match ended 1-3 in favor of Vasalunds IF, keeping their undefeated status alive and consolidating their position at the top of the table. Strömsbergs IF, on the other hand, continued their poor season and remained at the bottom of the table. Referee Richard Sundell and his assistant referees Stefan Fredriksson and Jim Eriksson officiated the match without any major incidents.
