IFK Stocksund started the match strongly and took the lead as early as the 6th minute with a fine finish from Taha Abdi Ali. Kvarnsvedens IK tried to respond but struggled to create dangerous chances. Before halftime, IFK Stocksund extended their lead to 2-0 through Darko Boskovic.

At halftime, Kvarnsvedens IK made a substitution, which seemed to have an effect as Emil Hjälte reduced the deficit to 1-2 in the 69th minute.
