FC Gute hosted FC Arlanda at home at Gutavallen in a match that turned out to be a real nail-biter. In front of an audience of 250 people, the match kicked off on Sunday afternoon.
It was FC Gute who had the first dangerous chance in the match, and after 16 minutes, they managed to take the lead through Isak Ahl Holmström. Just six minutes later, they extended their lead to 2-0 with a goal from Filip Johansson Bahar. FC Arlanda received a warning through Mathias Haddad before halftime.
At halftime, FC Arlanda brought in Caesar Stephen Tetteh, which gave them new energy. After 65 minutes, Robin Safari reduced the score for FC Arlanda, and just 11 minutes later it was 2-2 after another goal from FC Arlanda, this time by Benjamin Suskic.
However, FC Gute continued to fight, and after 77 minutes, they managed to take the lead again through Herekol Bayram. FC Arlanda received another warning when William Fox was booked in the 75th minute. Despite FC Arlanda's hard work to equalize again, they failed to do so, and the match ended 3-2 in favor of FC Gute.
Referee Henric Karlsson was assisted by Ola Bröms and Gustav Hansson, who acted as assistant referees to keep an eye on the situations on the field. This was an important victory for FC Gute as they take another step upward in Division 2 Norra Svealand.
