It was a lovely autumn day at Gutavallen when FC Gute hosted IFK Stocksund in the last match of the year in Division 2 Norra Svealand for the men. Despite a disappointing football season, there was still much excitement in the air in front of the crowd of just over 350 people.

Jonas Jonsson and his assistant referees Gustav Hansson and Mats Pettersson needed just 38 minutes before they could issue the first warning, to a player from FC Gute. However, FC Gute only needed a few more minutes to take the lead in the match when Robin Alnäs scored a goal from a pass by Neil Hillion.

The second half began with a substitution for the visitors, as Niklas Persson came on for George Alchahin. FC Gute then scored a second goal when Neil Hillion himself put the ball in the net. IFK Stocksund salvaged the game when Ömür Pektas converted a penalty and scored two goals in just a couple of minutes.

It was a tense finish for both sides, and the teams were evenly matched until they each received a warning and a sending-off. IFK Stocksund's top scorer Pektas was sent off after receiving his second warning, while Alex Hellgren Villegas was cautioned just after substituting for Pektas.

While there was constant back-and-forth between the two teams in the final scramble, IFK Stocksund managed to score their third goal of the day thanks to yet another warning issued to a FC Gute player. In the end, the match finished with IFK Stocksund as the winners with a score of 3-2, claiming victory in Division 2 Norra Svealand. FC Gute finished in 11th place in the table and will have to return to training for next season.
