The match between Mariehem SK and Ersboda SK at MSK Arena began with a strong start from Ersboda. Already in the 20th minute, they took the lead through Daniel Larsson, and just a few minutes later, they doubled their lead to 2-0 with a goal from Robin Åberg. Shortly after that, Christoffer Ullsten made it 3-0 for Ersboda, putting Mariehem in a tough position to come back from.

At the end of the first half, Jens Sjöström received a yellow card for Ersboda. At halftime, Ersboda made a substitution, bringing Mattias Larsson on for Jens Sjöström.
