It was an exciting match at LF Arena when Piteå IF hosted Tegs SK in Division 2 Norrland. Piteå IF started strong and took the lead after just five minutes through Victor Brännström. Tegs SK responded with a sharp counterattack, resulting in Jake Forshaw receiving a yellow card for a tough tackle.
Piteå IF continued to apply pressure, and Brännström scored his second goal of the match in the 26th minute. Tegs SK did not give up and reduced the deficit through Carl Pettersson Lif.
At the beginning of the second half, Brännström scored his third goal, completing his hat trick. However, Tegs SK refused to back down, and Jake Forshaw scored again to narrow the gap.
Tegs SK made a substitution, bringing Martin Drugge Eriksson on for Kurt Bradley. Piteå IF also made two substitutions.
In the 79th minute, Tegs SK equalized through Alexander Nassiri, which gave them new energy. But in the closing stages of the match, Niclas Nilsson stepped up and secured the win for Piteå IF with a goal making it 4-3.
Referee Ivica Matanovic had his hands full managing the situation, and the match ended with a delightful victory for Piteå IF, while Tegs SK fought bravely but ultimately found themselves defeated.
