Piteå IF had full control over the match from the first minute. Already in the 23rd minute, Victor Brännström opened the scoring, and just three minutes later, Erik Sundström doubled the lead to 2-0.

Junsele IF received two cautions almost back-to-back, while Piteå continued to dominate on the field. Victor Brännström scored his second goal in the 39th minute, and Alexander Lindahl struck another goal just before halftime, making the score 4-0 in favor of Piteå.

Immediately after the break, Alexander Lindahl managed to score his second goal and extend the lead to 5-0. Junsele, however, fought on and managed to get a consolation goal from Khamzat Udugov in the 56th minute.

Piteå continued to press, and in the 90th minute, the sixth goal came, albeit through an own goal by Junsele. The match ended with a dominant 6-1 victory for Piteå IF.

With this win, Piteå climbed to 5th place in the standings, while Junsele remained at the bottom of the table. It was a strong performance from Piteå that will give them confidence for upcoming matches.
