The match started with a high tempo, and just 10 minutes into the game, Selånger FK took the lead through Jens Gustafsson. Sandviks IK tried to get back into the match but instead saw Selånger increase their lead to 2-0 with a goal from Fredrik Olofsson.

Just before halftime, however, Sandviks IK managed to reduce the deficit through Hong Moon, going into the break with a score of 2-1.

At the start of the second half, Selånger once again extended their lead to 3-1, thanks to Stefan Grönlund. Sandviks IK responded quickly, with Ludvig Brännström reducing the score to 3-2.

But Selånger FK was not willing to let go of their grip on the match, and Fredrik Olofsson scored his second goal of the day, leading to the final score of 4-2.

The audience at Idrottsparken witnessed an eventful match where Selånger FK showed that they are not giving up their fight to climb the table. On the other hand, Sandviks IK will need to continue to fight to find their form and earn important points in Division 2 Norrland.
