Team TG FF kicked off in the best possible way when they took the lead after 23 minutes of play. Kim Lundmark was the one who scored the goal that put the team in the driver's seat. After a few more minutes, Team TG FF extended their lead with a goal from Seif Kadhim from a free kick. It seemed like Selånger FK was having difficulty finding their rhythm in the match, but just before halftime, they got a chance to reduce the deficit with a penalty kick. Unfortunately for the home team, Christoffer Nerkman missed from eleven meters, and the score remained unchanged.
At halftime, Selånger FK chose to substitute Faress Mohammed in place of Nerkman, but it wasn't enough to get their game going. Instead, Robin Hemmervall Nilsson received a yellow card for Team TG FF, but it was Selånger FK who managed to score. Daniel Andersson provided the reduction, and suddenly the home team had found their game again. Unfortunately for Selånger FK, it was short-lived joy when Jan Jonsson headed in a goal just a few minutes later. After that, it seemed like the home team completely lost their way and could never recover from the deficit. Instead, it was Team TG FF who made two substitutions, with Patrik Forsgren coming on for Seif Kadhim. Meanwhile, Selånger FK also quickly switched players, with Fredrik Törnqvist coming on for Per Nyman.
In the end, Team TG FF won 3-1 after dominating large parts of the match. It was a well-deserved victory when the final whistle blew, and the three points took them up to second place in Division 2 Norrland. Selånger FK, on the other hand, lost another match and currently finds themselves at the bottom of the table. The match at Västhagen IP was witnessed by 80 spectators and was officiated by Martin Palm along with assistant referees Jimmy Svensson and Stefan Nilsson.
