Sollefteå GIF FF defeated Ånge IF 5-4 in an exciting match at Ånge IP on Saturday afternoon. In front of an audience of zero, Sollefteå took the lead just three minutes into the game through Viktor Edlund. Ånge quickly responded, equalizing four minutes later with a goal from Anthony Obodai. However, Sollefteå continued to dominate, with Rasmus Bergström, Sergiu Baran, and Edlund again scoring three consecutive goals, leading 4-1 with just twelve minutes remaining in the first half. Ånge’s moment of hope came at the end of the half when Sollefteå scored an own goal, leaving Ånge to head into halftime beaten but still holding onto hope.

Ånge started the second half strongly, and after two quick goals from Karl Cunningham and Benny Matsson, they reduced the deficit to 5-3. Philip Olofsson's goal in the 54th minute gave the home team further hope of earning a point. Despite several dangerous attacks and two yellow cards to each team, Ånge could not find an equalizer before the final whistle blew. Sollefteå was thus able to secure their first victory of the season, while Ånge lost important points in the battle for top positions in Division 2 Norrland. Referee Henrik Mohlin and his assistant referees, Robin Albertsson and Andreas Olsson, officiated a very good match and did an excellent job on the field.
