Piteå IF FF and Bollnäs GIF FF faced off at LF Arena in a thrilling match in Division 2 Norrland. Just two minutes into the game, the home team opened the scoring when Moses Adewale-Duckrell skillfully brought the ball into the net, putting Piteå ahead 1-0. Bollnäs struggled to break through Piteå's defense, but on the other side of the pitch, the home team was unable to extend their lead.
In the second half, it appeared that Bollnäs would have a tough time saving a point, but in the 52nd minute, Johan Sköld made a brilliant play and equalized the match to 1-1. After the goal, Bollnäs increased the pressure and created several hot chances, but Piteå's goalkeeper stood firm and saved his team multiple times.
Bollnäs received a yellow card when Simon Sigvardsson was a bit too tough on a Piteå player in the 56th minute. In the 73rd minute, Sigvardsson was substituted out of the match for Mohammed Al-Dahhan in an attempt to create more offensive play for the away team. Piteå's coach also opted to make two substitutions, bringing in Pontus Wixner for Johan Hedström and Robert Hammarstedt for Gustav Nordh in the 76th and 78th minutes, respectively.
Bollnäs focused on their offensive play and substituted Christian Brolin in for Ali Reza Alizadeh in the 81st minute, but it wasn't enough to decide the match. The final score was 1-1, concluding a closely contested match in front of an audience of 415 spectators. The match was officiated by Roland Adelsson, assisted by Oscar Broberg Sandberg and Adam Backlund, who all did a great job on the field.
