Piteå IF FF and Bodens BK FF faced off on Sunday afternoon at LF Arena in front of an audience of 550 people. Referee Oskar Nilsson officiated the match, assisted by linesmen Simon Granström and Peter Lundström.
Piteå took an early lead in the match when Moses Adewale-Duckrell scored to make it 1-0 in the third minute. However, Boden quickly equalized through Arish Nouri in the eleventh minute. Samuel Naiwo reclaimed the lead for Piteå before halftime.
In the second half, Piteå extended their lead with two more goals, scored by Alexander Naylor and Joel Edström. Boden, however, did not give up and managed to reduce the score to 4-3 with goals from Kevin Roberts and Arish Nouri.
Gustav Nordh pushed Piteå’s lead back to 5-3 before Filip Daunfeldt cut it to 5-4 for Boden in stoppage time. Despite Boden's strong finish, Piteå held on and secured the victory.
After the match, Piteå sits in second place in the standings while Boden is in fifth place. It was a goal-filled match that offered a lot of excitement and drama at LF Arena this Sunday afternoon.
