IFK Timrå turned an early 0-1 deficit into a 4-1 victory against Bodens BK FF at Timrå IP on Saturday afternoon. The home team struggled for a long time to break through the visitors' defense, but two quick goals in the middle of the first half sent them into the lead.
Boden's Jack Green opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a header, but just four minutes later, IFK's Cevin Dotson equalized with a fine individual effort. After 25 minutes, the home team took the lead with a great long shot from goalkeeper Mehmed Hafizovic.
Ten minutes later, Robin Bergman extended the lead with another header, following a nice corner from Adam Jonsson. The score would later be 4-1 after halftime, again thanks to Hafizovic.
Boden made a substitution at halftime, but it didn't appear to benefit them significantly. They struggled to create dangerous goal-scoring opportunities and lost pace in their play as IFK Timrå managed to counter more effectively. Hafizovic was ultimately named the player of the match for IFK Timrå.
After the match, IFK Timrå led the table, while Bodens BK FF was in eleventh place. Referee Robert Ahlman had full control of the game, assisted by Magnus Öqvist and Nils Karlsson. A total of 115 people were present to watch the match.
