Piteå IF FF secured a convincing victory against IFK Umeå at LF Arena in front of an audience of 500 people. Joel Edström opened the scoring just 13 minutes in with a fine finish. Only two minutes later, Johannes Lidström extended the lead to 2-0 for the home team. IFK Umeå fought hard, and Jesper Lindgren Gysenius managed to reduce the deficit to 2-1 after 23 minutes.
