IFK Luleå overcame Piteå IF FF in an impressive match at Nyabvallen. Yassine Assam's opening goal in the eleventh minute gave the home team confidence, and they continued to dominate the match as it progressed. In the second half, Sebastian Vigerbäck stepped up and scored with a header shortly after fifty minutes. Johan Hedström was substituted in for the away team at halftime but could not stop IFK Luleå's attacking plays. A substitution with Johannes Lidström also did not yield any results.
