It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Vildmannavallen IP when IFK Umeå hosted IFK Östersund in Division 2 Norrland. Both teams had an important match ahead of them while the spectators were absent. Referee Joel Bäckström blew the whistle to kick off the match at 15:00 as scheduled.

After a balanced start to the match, IFK Umeå managed to take the lead in the 41st minute when Herman Gustafsson expertly shot the ball past IFK Östersund's goalkeeper. After the goal, IFK Umeå continued to press for more goals while IFK Östersund tried to find a way back into the match.

IFK Östersund desperately tried to find an equalizer but was unsuccessful. The match ended 2-1 in favor of the home team IFK Umeå. Johannes Nilsson became the match hero with his late goal, and IFK Umeå can happily look back on a very important victory.
