On Sunday afternoon, an exciting match took place in Division 2 Norrland between Gottne IF and Täfteå IK at Haraldsängen 1. Unfortunately, there were no spectators present to watch the match, but referee Rickard Lingensjö and assistant referees Fredrik Thelander and Elsa Wisting did an excellent job.
Before the match, Gottne IF was in 7th place in the table, while Täfteå IK was in 11th place. It was the last match of the year, and both teams wanted to finish the season with a win.
Just two minutes into the game, Gottne IF scored a goal through Adam Johnson, following a nice header. Täfteå IK fought hard to get back into the game, but Gottne IF capitalized on their strength and scored another goal just before halftime. Emir Ragipovic was the scorer this time.
In the second half, Danny Harmon from Gottne IF received a yellow card after a tough tackle. Täfteå IK brought on Emanuel Stenmark, which gave the team new energy. Axel Fällman took a nice free kick and managed to reduce the score to 2-1 for Täfteå IK in the 68th minute.
The match became tense and intense. Täfteå IK made several substitutions, including bringing on Hannes Bellgran in the 83rd minute. Gottne IF responded by substituting in William Forsgren. Unfortunately, Täfteå IK was unable to equalize despite several good attempts, and Gottne IF won the match 2-1.
After the match, Gottne IF finished in 7th place in the table, while Täfteå IK ended in 11th place. It was an exciting match, and both teams can be proud of their performances. Next season, both teams will likely strive to improve their standings in the table.
