Match Report:

Piteå IF FF and Gottne IF faced off at LF Arena in an exciting match in Division 2 Norrland. Despite there being no spectators in the stands due to current restrictions, both teams played with great intensity.

After half an hour of play, the referee showed the yellow card and cautioned Anton Larsson from Gottne IF. However, it was Piteå who took the lead just before halftime when Dominic McGiveron scored to make it 1-0.

Gottne IF came out strong in the second half and quickly equalized through Nicklas Fahlén, with what can be described as a classic header goal. But Piteå managed to take the lead again when an own goal gave them a 2-1 advantage.

After the goal, several substitutions were made by both teams in an attempt to find a new balance on the field. However, neither Piteå nor Gottne was able to score any more goals, and the match ended with a narrow victory for Piteå IF FF.

The referee also issued a few cautions in the closing stages of the match, but it did not affect the final result. Piteå IF FF won 2-1 and thus secured three important points in Division 2 Norrland.
