An intense match between Bodens BK FF and Täfteå IK took place on Saturday afternoon at the Bodens Energi Arena in front of a crowd of 307 spectators. Referee Simon Svensson officiated the match, assisted by Ulf Fahlman and Hugo Westergaard.
Bodens started strong, and just sixteen minutes in, Raymond Mendy received a yellow card. However, Mendy went on to score the first goal for Bodens in the 21st minute. Bodens continued to dominate the match, but Täfteå stirred things up and managed to equalize in the 31st minute. Emil Hallberg headed the ball in to make it 1-1.
The match became increasingly intense, with more yellow cards being handed out. Steve Zishim Bawa from Bodens received his yellow card in the 33rd minute, and Abdukarim Silla from Täfteå received his in the 54th minute. Björn Bråborg, the team leader for Bodens, received a yellow card in the 55th minute, which turned out to be one warning too many for Bodens.
Bodens continued to fight, but it was Täfteå who would score the decisive goal. Kelvin Wokomaty netted the ball in the 70th minute, giving Täfteå a 2-1 lead. Bodens desperately tried to come back, but substitutions and yellow cards kept coming. The match ended with a victory for Täfteå, 2-1, and Bodens found themselves defeated on their home turf. It was an unfortunate day for Raymond Mendy, who received two yellow cards and was consequently sent off.
