On Saturday afternoon, Mariebo IK played against Vimmerby IF at Mariebovallen in Jönköping in front of an audience of 54 people. Referee Jonel Samoila officiated with the assistance of Fredrik Hjort and Sam Roshandel as assistant referees.
The match started strong for Mariebo IK when Amanda Harlin scored a goal in the fourth minute, giving the team a 1-0 lead. Mariebo continued to dominate, and in the 35th minute, Hanna Karatas doubled the lead to 2-0.
At the beginning of the second half, Vimmerby IF received a warning when Marielle Rickardsson picked up a yellow card. However, this did not stop Mariebo from continuing to dominate the match. Charlotte Nordberg scored her second goal in the 54th minute, extending the lead to a comfortable 3-0.
Vimmerby IF finally got a consolation goal when Hanna Eriksson reduced the score to 3-1 in the 62nd minute. But Mariebo responded quickly, with Charlotte Nordberg scoring her third goal of the day in the 68th minute, increasing the lead to 4-1.
In the 78th minute, Nordberg managed to score her fourth goal of the day, completing her hat trick and leading Mariebo to a convincing 5-1 advantage.
However, Vimmerby IF did not give up and continued to fight to try to get back into the match. Sara Green managed to score a consolation goal in the 84th minute, but it wasn't enough to threaten Mariebo's victory.
The match ended 5-2 in favor of Mariebo IK after an impressive performance by Charlotte Nordberg, who scored four goals and led her team to a well-deserved victory.
