The match between Lörby IF and Landsbro IF at Lörby Park was an intense and exciting event in front of an audience of 178 people. Referee Pontus Billinger took charge with assistance from Haris Blekic and Frida Olsson.
Just six minutes in, Landsbro IF received a warning when Maja Jakobsson came in a bit too hard in a duel. It didn’t take long before Julia Norén scored to make it 0-1 for the visiting team. Landsbro IF continued to press and received another warning, this time for Mathilda Johansson Prakt.
Lörby IF fought their way back into the match, and in the 37th minute, Victoria Joelsson equalized to 1-1 after a nice attack. However, the joy was short-lived as Jonna Andersson once again put Landsbro in the lead just a few minutes later, making it 1-2 which held until halftime.
The second half became a tough contest with several dangerous chances for both teams, but neither was able to score again. When the referee blew the final whistle, it was clear that Landsbro IF had won 1-2, thus finishing the season in sixth place in the table. Lörby IF had to settle for eighth place. A truly great match where both teams displayed a high fighting spirit and good football.
