The match started at a high tempo, and it didn't take long before FK Linköping took the lead. Already in the 7th minute, Linus Bergström received the ball and scored a beautiful goal, giving the away team a 0-1 lead.

IFK Hässleholm tried to respond and pressed for an equalizer, and in the 28th minute, Victor Bergström managed to score and equalized to 1-1. However, FK Linköping quickly replied, and in the 38th minute, Kristoffer Nordlund scored the goal that once again gave the guests the lead, making it 1-2.

In the second half, FK Linköping continued to dominate and extended their lead to 1-3 through Christos Christoforidis in the 89th minute. Just a couple of minutes later, Fredrik Nilsson scored another goal, sealing the final score at 1-4 in favor of FK Linköping.
