It was an exciting match between Vimmerby IF and IFK Hässleholm at Vimarvallen in front of a crowd of 325 spectators. Referee Sebastian Lagrell officiated the match together with assistant referees Senad Hodzic and Kjell Edvardsson.

Already after eight minutes IFK Hässleholm took the lead through Burim Rexhepi, who later also extended their lead to 2-0 after 17 minutes. Vimmerby IF received a caution through Jimmy Svensson, and IFK Hässleholm received a caution through Didacus Owuo.

At half time, Vimmerby IF made a change in the team where Sebasthian Svensson replaced Jimmy Svensson, while IFK Hässleholm replaced Johan Birgersson with Anton Henryson.

After an hour of play, IFK Hässleholm had Nicklas Andersson sent off, giving Vimmerby IF a chance to get back into the game. Christoffer Lätt and Johan Adriansson were replaced in Vimmerby IF's team, while Filip Thurn replaced Guy Guy Lema in IFK Hässleholm.
