On Saturday afternoon, Ljungby IF and Assyriska IF faced off in Norrköping at Lagavallen in front of an audience of 225 people. Ljungby IF, who were in sixth place in the table, met Assyriska IF, who were in tenth place before the match.

Assyriska then began to push more offensively and reduced the deficit with a goal from Samir Behnan in the forty-fifth minute. In the late stages of the half, Halil Selava received a yellow card for Assyriska.
Assyriska continued to press in the second half and created several chances, but Ljungby's defense held firm. Assyriska made two substitutions, while Ljungby also made two, the last being Simon Sjöstrand for Oskar Rietz in the ninetieth minute. Assyriska desperately tried to equalize and created pressure at the end, but Ljungby was able to hold on and win the match 2-1.
Assyriska received two yellow cards in the second half for Vedran Dakic and Samir Behnan, while Ljungby received no further cards. Referee Victor Wolf had his assistant referees Magnus Appelberg and Mathias Ekeflo. Although not many goals were scored, the match showcased many dangerous situations and tough play from both teams.
