IK Tord secured an important home victory when they faced Assyriska IF in Norrköping at Stadsparksvallen in Jönköping. After a tight start to the match, Joacim Dahlström received the ball on the right flank and shot it into the net, giving IK Tord a 1-0 lead.

Assyriska IF tried to come back into the match and created several dangerous chances, but IK Tord's defense held strong.

In the 48th minute, Robin Ring extended IK Tord's lead to 2-0 after breaking through Assyriska IF's defense and placing the ball in the net.
