FC Rosengård 1917 continues its dominance in Division 2 Östra Götaland after defeating KSF Prespa Birlik at home with a score of 2-0. It was a very physical match where both teams fought hard, but Rosengård proved to be the stronger side and created several dangerous chances.
The match started evenly, but it was Rosengård that took control and pressed for a leading goal. However, it wasn’t until the 69th minute that Alvedin Nezirovac could break the deadlock and give Rosengård the lead with a beautiful shot into the far corner.
Prespa Birlik tried to respond, but Rosengård's defense held firm, and it was instead Nezirovac who scored his second goal of the match, securing the victory for Rosengård with a simple finish into an open net in the 75th minute.
Prespa Birlik desperately sought a way back into the game, but when Adriano Kalisiak received his second yellow card and was sent off in the 72nd minute, it became even tougher for the away side. Despite a few dangerous chances, they couldn't truly threaten Rosengård, and the match ended 2-0.
Rosengård's coach, Stefan Sverrisson, was pleased with the team’s performance and said after the match: "It was a tough match, but we showed our quality and were able to take three important points. Now we look forward to the next match and continued success in the league."
With this victory, Rosengård retains its position at the top of the table, while Prespa Birlik continues to fight to avoid relegation. Rosengård’s next match is against Trollhättan, while Prespa Birlik faces Ängelholm.
