Kvarnby IK hosted Ljungby IF at Bäckagårds IP in a match that quickly delivered goals. Already after 12 minutes, Ljungby took the lead through Adis Hodzic. However, Kvarnby IK responded quickly and equalized before halftime with an own goal.

In the second half, Kvarnby pressed forward and took the lead through Robin Svensson, who also scored his second goal a few minutes later. With a 3-1 lead, it seemed like Kvarnby would secure the win, but Ljungby did not give up.

With two quick goals towards the end of the match, one from a penalty, Ljungby managed to turn the match around, and the final score was set at 3-4 in favor of the away team. It was a dramatic match in which Kvarnby also had their coach Michele Liuzzi sent off in the closing minutes after protests.

In a fluctuating match, both teams provided entertainment for the 110 spectators present, and Ljungby IF could take home three important points in the relegation battle.
